Peggy N Morin - Morin Services

 

Peggy N. Morin, Certified Translator, Ontario Certified Teacher and owner of Morin Services, has over two decades of professional experience in a variety of sectors. From content and curriculum writer to project manager, special events coordinator, teacher, translator and business owner, Mrs. Morin has extensive experience and a wealth of knowledge.

Ms. Morin is a firm believer in continuing education and professional development. She holds the following certificates and diplomas:

  • Bachelor of Arts - History (University of Ottawa)
  • Bachelor of Education (University of Ottawa)
  • Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults (University of Cambridge - Canadian Language Studies)
  • Certificate of Marketing (Athabasca University)
  • Bachelor of Translation (Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières)
  • ARCT in History and Theory (Royal Conservatory of Music)

She started her career in 1995 as a college professor where she mostly taught English courses until 2006. She spent the next couple of years as Collège Boréal’s New Liskeard campus manager. In 2008, she started her business, Morin Services, and she started teaching at the primary and junior divisions. She enjoyed teaching visual arts, music, dance and drama to students from JK to grade 8 from 2008 to 2017. During that period, she also taught various subjects from grades 4 through 8 such as social studies, geography, math, English, French, and religion. She also gave private music lessons in her home studio. Her main instrument is the piano, but she also enjoyed teaching and playing accordion, violin, drums, guitar, and voice. Since 2017, she has been the coordinator of an alternative high school and literacy basic skills program.

She is passionate about her work and puts care into all her projects. Professional, resourceful, and bilingual, Mrs. Morin promises excellent customer service, in French and in English.
